The Phiten products confound me - at first I thought of them like the gimmicky copper or magnetic bracelets that you see all over the place nowadays.I grabbed one from Amazon during a sale as an impulse buy and so far I have been completely impressed by the amount that they actually do work.They're not a miracle cure - if you have arthritis or carpel tunnel, these various necklaces, bracelets and braces will not suddenly remove all pain, however they may lessen down a degree or two.
I have constant shoulder and knee issues - both joints literally grind when I move them around in my socket.Most of the time, the feeling is more of an annoyance, not a "pain" - like someone constantly leaning on your shoulder.When my joints feel that way, wearing the Phiten items makes the pain go away completely enough that I don't notice it.When my joints actually hurt - a dull ache such as during wet weather - wearing the Phiten products drops it down to the level of a "presence".In other words, I can still feel my joints being "grumpy," but it's not as bad as needing to take an Advil.
I also wear these during workouts and while it is absolutely not a replacement for a good stretch routine, it does seem to help cut back on the after-workout soreness.
